My Project
I am a new teacher who will be teaching second grade. Especially as a first-year teacher, there are many materials that I need to acquire to create a positive learning environment for my students.
This project includes math learning tools that will support my students in learning how to tell time and count money.
Telling time and counting money are included in the 2nd-grade math standards. Having these manipulatives will help solidify my students' understanding through hands-on learning. In this project, I have included student gear clocks, a large teacher gear clock, plastic coins, two learning games for telling time, and one game for learning coin values.
