My Project

As a teacher in a high-poverty public urban school, I am challenged to develop and foster a high expectation/high achievement learning environment with children who may have been conditioned to believe that they aren't capable of high achievement because of special needs or conditions of poverty. It is important not only to learn how to read write and spell but also to learn the ways of life, Mentally, Physically, emotionally, and financially! We are learning how to keep our areas and classrooms clean and have an inviting classroom. To do that we need the tools to help us to achieve those goals. Headphones, for individual assignments. When working on the computers by ourselves it will advance our independent work ethic! We are also learning to treat our classroom nicely by cleaning our desks, sweeping, and making sure our environment smells nice! These tools will help us!
