Celebrate Black Teachers and Students
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are in Baltimore, Maryland and we are in a great neighborhood. These students love to learn and are very creative. These students love to read and write and count.
In this class, we will build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.
I will be returning to classroom after having been a Title 1 teacher. I have worked with these students and I know their potential and how I can push them next year to be even more successful.
My Project
These materials will help my students grow this school year. We will have a organized classroom and this will only enhance our learning experience. The trays will be used to keep papers organized. Wipe erase boards will be used so that all students can work out problems, write words. All these materials will be used for phonics, reading, math, social studies and science. Students will not have to worry about having scissors to do art projects.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students will be able to focus on their work and become successful learners.
