2nd Grade Economics Fair!

Help me give my students materials to help them create goods for our 2nd grade economics fair.

My Project

We are starting our unit on economics in second grade. One of the best parts of the economics unit is our second-grade economics fair. Students will have the opportunity to work together in groups to come up with a good that they will sell at the fair. Students will use tickets to purchase goods from each other at the fair. These items will not be sold for real money. This project helps teach students the importance of teamwork, real-life application, higher-order thinking, fine motor skills, needs and wants, and how to manage money. This is an opportunity for them to also showcase their skills!

My students have come up with some ideas of goods they'd like to make to sell.

I have created the wish list based on these ideas. I am really hoping to be able to give them all the materials that they need to be successful with this project!
