Help me give my students canvases to create their awesome Illuminart STEM project.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Hayes's classroom raised $301
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These canvases will be used for my 2nd and 3rd grade STEM classes. Students will research and explore systems. This knowledge of systems, specifically circuits will be applied to an art piece that will be illuminated by a LED light. Students will be able to reference their hands-on experiences and research to explain how a circuit works to an audience. Before students present their work to an audience, they will be given an opportunity to reflect on their work and provide feedback to their peers. Students will present their artwork and an artist statement in a culminating art exhibition.
