My Students

I teach resource classes that include students at various cogitative levels. Each individual has personal needs, but each student strives to become productive workers in the world of employment. Each of my students demonstrates a hard-working attitude, which reinforces their desire to obtain employment they are confident to pursue. Part of their confidence stems from their willingness to use technology when learning.

Today in our society, it is fundamentally essential for all students to be able to assimilate skills using computer technology.

My students want to know and demonstrate their ability to perform job duties using computer technology. Overall, my students are vicarious and inquisitive learners who strive to be successful in a career with technology in the 21st century.

My Project

Being able to learn and work while using a 2-in-1 laptop will enhance a student’s ability to participate in a competitive school and work environment. My lessons will teach students the use of a computer that works as a tablet too. Both college and the world of work require individuals to be able to work with computer technology, whether it is using a tablet to assist customers or sitting in a classroom taking notes. Each student's taught how to use these devices to become proficient community members.

College students using 2-in-1 laptops can organize their course work by using software that can enable them to be virtually paperless.

Therefore, my lessons will be instructing future college students on how to manage and organize their learning programs. Students will learn how to save and share their assignments and projects. Additional lessons will teach my students how to take notes that transfer to written assignments. Ultimately each student will build a foundation to be prepared for college.

For those students who will be going forward into the work world, my lessons will focus on organizing their personal lives as well as the functional ability to communicate with work-related information. Technological literacy is imperative for individuals entering the workforce; therefore, obtaining the equipment necessary will enhance my ability to prepare my students.
