This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hi! My name is Amy and I currently teach business and run our school's student store. My classroom used to be our college and career center, so it was full of ugly, old built in desks and a reception area that just wasn't functionable for learning. It also forced my (sometimes) 40 students into a small work space due to the existing layout. Lucky for me, my classroom is currently undergoing a small remodel and the built ins are gone! Even better, I now how direct access to our student store from my classroom space, so students are able to focus more on work based learning and hands-on instruction while I teach.

This is where I need your help; I have a big HUGE space and am desperate to furnish it with flexible seating, rugs, and cool décor.

I want to model a 21st workplace and show students that working at a start-up or tech company can be a really great experience. Help me by donating to the cause! I'm looking to snag 3 large bean bags, a neon sign, and a cool $100 bill rug to separate the two space that are now combined!
