My Students
In my classroom, my students are scientists, explorers, authors and whatever else they set their mind to! My students are capable of so many great things and would be appreciative of your help accomplishing them.
Every student brings their own unique contribution which helps to build our classroom community.
As a community, we help to build each other up and cheer each other on through each learning experience. Fifth grade can be filled with many ups and downs but we continue to support our classmates.
My Project
As a teacher, it is important to always be building your classroom library so that you can find a book for every reader. Like I tell my students who say they don't like to read, you just haven't found the right book YET. I try to fill our library with a variety of books including picture books, chapter books and graphic novels! I want my students to be excited to read the books in this project.
Another need for my students is flexible seating. I'm working to find the best seating options for my students by giving them the choice of using wobble stools. These stools allow students to wiggle and wobble while they work hard.
