My Students

My students are excited about coming to school. They look forward to reading books, solving math equations, and using technology. They have such huge hearts, and they give everything they've got to improve their math and reading skills daily.

My students are dreamers and thinkers, eager to learn new things daily.

They thrive on technology and love the daily challenge that many of our computer programs can bring them. We are a small town school, ready to embrace very big learning!

My Project

Students will use the Chromebooks for research based projects as well as for daily math, science, and reading practice.

2nd grade standards require student research, Chromebooks would allow them to research topics of their choice anywhere in the classroom.

Students enjoy researching animals. One of their main projects this year will be to choose an animal with a group and research it. The Chromebooks are easily transported around the room for multiple students to use at once.

They will also use the Reflex math website to practice their addition and subtraction skills. We will also use the Chromebooks to assess their reading comprehension throughout the year.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
