My Project

Our students love the library and they love books! Checking out is so important and if they do not get to or if they can not find what they are looking for they have hard time! Creating a love of the space and books is one of my main goals. However, library time at our school is on a fixed schedule so students do not get much free time to browse. They have to be quick with decisions.

Students who can find what they want easily are more likely to read what they have checked out!

Having shelves marked clearly by the author and what section they are in, is pertinent to helping them find stuff quickly. These shelf markers are updated, modern and feature beautiful graphics too! It is a win/win for the space!

I know it doesn't seem like a very fancy or exciting project, but visual appeal is important to students and a libraries overall aesthetic. Our students deserve the same visually appealing spaces that other students have in other parts of the city.
