My Students

I have the privilege of teaching 23 young enthusiastic learners. These special and kind individuals are excited every day when they come to school. They appreciate all the opportunities they are given. These lovely 8-9 year old students come from a variety of backgrounds and have diverse learning styles. They are learning to work together and integrate technology into their learning experiences.

This is an important year for my students, they will learn independence and perseverance.

My students come from all over the city and with vastly different home lives, cultures, and experiences. Meeting their needs and exposing them to skills that will support and benefit them throughout their educational journey is a top priority.

My Project

When given the right tools students can achieve great success. Having technology available for students to demonstrate their learning through video, pictures, and writing allows all students to express themselves.

Technology provides opportunity and is a 21st century skill.

We will use the Chromebook to work with Google classroom and document our learning. The iPad will be used to take pictures and videos of our learning experiences to share via Google classroom.

Students will work together in groups to create projects and integrate preforming arts and cross-curricular learning.

Learning to use technology is important in this ever changing and growing field. I want to provide my students with the age appropriate skills they will need to be prepared.
