My students need TI-Nspire software so I can guide them through exercises using the TI-Nspire calculators we received last year.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are fortunate to have amazing technology: a set of 20 TI-Nspire graphing calculators to share among my Algebra and Geometry classes. However, leading a lesson with novices requires interactive demonstration, and we need the software to do this.
Our high school boasts a diverse ethnic mix -- Filipinos, African Americans, Sri Lankans, Native Americans, Mexicans, Central Americans -- and a diverse socioeconomic mix, including everyone from migrant laborers to millionaires.
Along with AP and Honors classes in math, English, science and social studies, we also support many extracurriculars, including choral and instrumental music, drama, athletics, dance, and programs in Health, Arts, and Business.
My Project
Our classroom was fortunate to have received a set of TI-Nspire calculators last year. The students enjoy using these: they're fun to use and add dimension to the math content. However, we do not have the software that will allow me to demonstrate keystrokes on the LCD projector. The step-by-step operation of these complicated machines can be confusing. With this software, I will be able to develop custom lessons, import existing lessons, and guide the entire class in the detailed operation of their graphing calculators.
Your donations will help 200 students each year integrate graphing calculators into their daily math activity.
Many students cannot afford to own these $200 calculators; using them in class will be their only opportunity. Thank you for your help.
