This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

How can a teacher guarantee the success of a student within the 21st century, if the teacher does not expose students to the presently expected and needed skills?

It is all about promoting, advancing and maintaining presentation and communication skills within a content area.

If our students become experts at presenting content and practice how this is done in terms of making information accessible to an audience of their peers they will be ready to target one of the biggest barriers college students face. The fear of presenting and the lack of making information accessible to diverse groups of people.

Students are experts at using social media and use their phone as their primary device of communication. Why not take these skills and use them in the content of Chemistry so that they can teach each other as they present information/content hands free with the use of this tablet. Students learn best from each other, let's capitalize on this concept by providing these opportunities.

The educational system expects teachers to circle the room and motivate students to be proactive learners in order to succeed then educators need to step up to the plate and provide these opportunities of learning in a dynamic and constantly revolutionizing technology skills awareness system.
