21st Century Classroom!

My Students

My school is very low income. The students do not have a lot of opportunities outside of our school and classroom. The Itouches are a fun and exciting way to learn and understand concepts! Most of the time, the students are having so much fun that they don't realize they are learning!

My students are very unique.

They are often from single parent homes and because of that, there is not a lot of at home support. AS their teacher, I have to make sure they are having great opportunities to grow and learn at school. The more resources we have in our classroom, the more support and learning can take place! Many times, my students are hard to motivate when it comes to concepts that may be hard or new to them. However, given an Itouch, they can spend hours playing applications, watching videos, or reading to themselves. It always amazes me how much the students love and navigate toward technology and the opportunities that come with it. As a teacher, I want my students to have every opportunity that any other child has to learn and grow! With Itouches, I know that the students would definitely excel in all subjects!

My Project

As a donor, you are touching the future and allowing students to have opportunities that they would not have otherwise. My dream is to have a 21st century classroom so that my students know and understand how to use technology. These skills will equip them for a future in whatever field they want to go in to. I am asking that you consider partnering with me so that together, we WILL make a difference!

I truly believe that Itouches provide an excellent means for learning and reviewing concepts. They can practice their fluency by recording their reading, they can watch amazing science videos to help them understand concepts, and they can utilize many applications that cover so many topics and skills.
