My Project

Rocketry materials such as model rocket kits, engines, and launch pads provide hands-on experience in building, launching, and analyzing the flight of rockets. This practical application reinforces theoretical concepts learned in the classroom, such as Newton's laws of motion, aerodynamics, and propulsion systems.

Radio communication equipment, including amateur radio transceivers and antennas, enables students to participate in the ARISS program by establishing direct communication with astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

This real-world connection fosters interest in STEAM fields, particularly space exploration and telecommunications, by allowing students to interact directly with professionals in the space industry.

Goals:

To inspire students' interest and curiosity in STEAM disciplines, particularly in the fields of space exploration, rocket science, and telecommunications.

To provide students with practical, hands-on experience in designing, building, and launching model rockets, thereby reinforcing scientific principles and engineering concepts learned in the classroom.

To engage students in the ARISS program and facilitate direct communication with astronauts aboard the ISS, fostering a sense of connection to the broader space community and promoting global collaboration in scientific endeavors.

To encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills through collaborative project-based learning activities, where students work together to plan, execute, and evaluate their rocketry experiments and ARISS contact event.

To empower students to become lifelong learners and future leaders in STEM-related fields by igniting their passion for discovery, exploration, and innovation.

Our students are special because of their enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to learning. They possess a natural curiosity about the world around them and a genuine interest in exploring the wonders of space and technology. They are not afraid to ask questions, take risks, and think outside the box to solve problems and overcome challenges. Above all, our students are resilient, adaptable, and eager to make a positive impact on the world.
