Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher who has recently been moved from 2nd grade to 1st grade, it is important to have the necessary supplies to start off the next school year. The transition to a new grade level can be challenging, especially when it comes to curriculum and teaching materials. Having the appropriate supplies and materials is crucial for providing effective instruction to students.
Having these supplies on hand will help me create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and development for young students.
Additionally, having adequate supplies will help to ensure that each student has access to the necessary materials they need to participate fully in the classroom and succeed academically.
Labels may not seem like an obvious choice for student supplies, but they can be very useful for organization. I can use them to label student cubbies, desks, and other classroom materials. This will help students keep track of their belongings and ensure that they are not lost or mixed up with other students' items.
Magnetic letters kit is an excellent tool for teaching literacy skills to students. It allows them to manipulate letters and words, making it a more interactive and engaging way to learn.
Plastic folders are an essential organizational tool for students. They can be used to store and organize homework assignments, handouts, and other important papers.
A prize box can be a great incentive for students to work hard and behave well.
Headphones are essential for students who need to listen to audio recordings or participate in online learning activities.
