My Students
I teach a wonderful group of sixth-grade students in a high needs school in Charlotte, North Carolina. About 60 percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch. Many students do not come prepared for class and it is very disheartening to me.
My students come in eager to learn with the materials that we have provided for them.
The teachers at our school go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure every child's need is met. The teachers want students to be successful and ready to learn every day.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will be available to them on a daily basis. Students need folders, pencils, paper towels, wipes, disinfectant, air fresheners and cloths to assist them in completing their assignments and for everyday happenings.
Many students are arriving to school without the necessary supplies needed for class.
I have already depleted my own resources and am in need of some help. These items will help make things run smoothly from day to day. Students will have what they need to be and feel successful in class.
