My Students

My classroom is made up of 26 little first graders who reside in Philadelphia. We are looking forward to a great year of development as learners and citizens. My class loves to draw. Reading and writing are areas of need for my class.

Throughout the day, we have a variety of guided centers.

My students need actively engaging resources so I am able to work with small groups. It does not take much to make my group happy. They respond to TLC and knowing you are there for them.

My Project

First graders have a lot of energy and want to move and play all day. Sadly the curriculum demands don't allow for as much movement and free time as they might like. We are requesting bouncy bands and ergonomic seats.

Give my class the chance to move and work at the same time.

This is not a project that aims to help only students with special needs and ADHD but to improve the overall quality of all my students. Thank you in advance for choosing my project to support. It will go a long way to improving our focus and get a lot done in the coming weeks.
