Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Each day we say "We can do this!" We can make a year full of incredible memories that students can look back on ten years from now and remember the exact moment. Our student government club is filled with spirit! My students are full of energy; a melting pot of diverse students, from all walks of life, that have chosen to be a part of a group that works together and as individuals.
They are a mix of ninth through twelfth graders that love the traditions that encompass our school.
We are a Title I school so most of our students come from a low socio-economic level. Moreover, much of our school funding goes to core courses, and clubs are forced to fund raise to get any extra items. As an alumni, I have seen my school go through its ups and downs, but our students and faculty with their pride and spirit always move forward and never waver.
My Project
We are requesting a projector with stand, mic and cables for a 2020 way of delivering information to their classmates! The items we are requesting will help my students communicate ineffectively and efficiently with their classmates. The goal is to get our student body more involved in the activities that go on at our school. With this equipment, students will feel empowered to create vlogs that will captured to attention of their classmates.
Students will be able to take social media my storm, by being able to create eye catching videos and blogs.
Their goal is also to get their classmates more active and school spirited. They will have the latest in logging equipment and can propel into the year 2020.
