My Students
My students are an energetic group of intermediate diverse learners with various academic needs and learning styles. My students curriculum is significantly modified to help them reach their full potential. They come to school everyday eager to engage in hands-on meaningful activities.
All Students can learn when given a warm inviting enviornment that offers wonder.
My class is one of 5 cluster programs housed in an environment of inclusion and acceptance. Students are learning to become independent in their daily school activities, their self-care and their ability to function in their communnities. The General Education population is dedicated in their compassion to include the diverse population in schoolwide initiatives and activities.
My Project
The students in my classroom come to school ready to engage in hands on activities. My students are diverse learners that have multi-sensory learning styles. I have students that are non-verbal and have sensory challenges and they each have their own unique learning needs. Most of my students have independent functioning goals. When they are able to complete a task, we celebrate their accomplishments.
During our center rotations student develop independence through choosing activities that are appealing and engaging and focus on achieving their Smart Goals.
The floor puzzles will help my students social interactions and language development and independent functioning.
