This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom consists of lessons that involve multiple methods of delivery. I wish to expose my students to as much modern technology as possible since they come from homes with limited resources.

My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Every child receives free breakfast and lunch. This type of population is generally a grade level below peers in non-Title I schools. Even though my students come in low, they have the greatest potential for learning, and I want to maximize that opportunity with exposure to iPad's in the classroom.

My Project

I recently had a project funded for two iPad Mini's. These tablets need protective cases so the life of the technology can be extended for as long as possible. I would also like to include headphones so students can utilize the iPads without causing distractions to classmates and those around them. I am asking for 3 headphones to go with my two new iPad Mini's as well as a privately donated first generation iPad.

Donations to this project will help prolong the life of the iPads, so that I can use them with as many students as possible.

Headphones will allow my students to work on the iPads with focus and limited distractions to those around them.
