This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am very excited to transition from teaching Kindergarten for over ten years to now teaching Second grade. The whiteboards will be used on the daily, especially during ELAR and Math. They will allow students to work alongside me during whole group instruction. The flexible seating and rug will help create a special space for students to either read or create a calming space.
My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where students can showcase their love for learning.
