My Project

All of these items will help make a difference in each of my students lives because they are basic school supplies that every student needs to learn and grow.

Many (if not all) of my students come from families from low income families and come to school the first week with minimal to no school supplies.

They are always so excited to start the year, but are sometimes embarrassed when it’s time to empty their backpack. School supplies usually are at the bottom of the list (rightfully so) for families who are trying to juggle bills, groceries and much more. I would love to shorten the school supplies lists for my families to ease some of that burden.

Of course I always make sure each student has what they need, but it can be hard financially to provide the supplies that each student needs.

I am hopeful to get these supplies and start collecting now for the 2024/2025 school year so I can guarantee each student will have their basic supplies for the entire year.
