1st Grade is Going GREEN!

My students need Smart Pal envelopes and instruction books to help our classroom cut down on paper and make our classroom a green one.

My Students

Help us save trees. In my first grade class I am constantly copying and copying pages on which my students can practice. With this wonderful tool my students will be able to use the same worksheets year after year.

I teach first grade in a Title One school in Utah.

It's a high-needs school where over 70 percent of the students live in poverty. We also receive students from a nearby homeless shelter. I chose to teach here because its where I can make a difference. Often I'm the only good thing in my students' day. Many of my students are also English Language Learners and because of this they need extra support and a more creative means of instruction.

My Project

My students will benefit greatly from these Quick Response envelopes. They will use them to interact more fully with the curriculum. These will also further enhance their learning experience. We will be able to use them during math and language arts. One thing I'm hoping to do with the Quick Response Envelopes is to have guided practice, where in I can help direct students to the desired learning concept.

These resources will have a great impact on my students and many students to come.

It will also have an impact on the earth as I will not have to use as much paper in my classroom. My students will greatly benefit from your donations. Thank you so much for helping to change the lives of students.
