This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For the upcoming school year, I will be changing roles and will be a first grade teacher at a brand new school. I want my students to LOVE how the classroom looks and feels. I want them to know just like plants they will grow and be loved in so many ways!

We want to grow an indoor garden all year long!

As we grow food and flowers, my students will be exposed to the process of growing and also learning about flowers and tasting new healthy foods! Many of my students do not have access to these resources and this will create a love of growing and new experiences.
