My Project
I teach first grade. This is my 3rd year teaching and I’m continually making changes and upgrades to my room and one of those my classroom library. I feel like a classroom library is crucial to students learning. Unfortunately I was late to my selection at the beginning of the school year and did not get my library books I chose and had to choose something else for my classroom. While I will forever be thankful for those. I wanted to reach out and see if there was a possibility of any leftover fundings this year. I made a list of things I could really use for my first graders. Some more being for our classroom library. Another being headphones, I would love a good set of headphones for my first-grade students. Some that would fit them and not got out on them every other week. I would also love to have a set of LCD tablets in my room for writing. I think that would be a neat way to engage students and their creativity. I would love a standing desk for myself as well.
