This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hamilton Park has the BEST Special Ed resource team. Our group of 10 teachers and speech language pathologists serve 150 very underprivileged kids aged 3-12 every day at a Title 1 school in Dallas.

Our kids do not not come to us with support or resources.

We need supplies like hand sanitizer, Clorox Wipes to help us facilitate a clean educational environment where our kids can have snacks and we have incentives available to help them navigate school. Our kids come with cognitive, behavioral and developmental disabilities, but they NEED TO LEARN. Our kids need to learn to read, write, and do math. They have to. Their future depends on their academic success. Please help us help them.
