This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello,

I have 15 students in total.

One class of 10, another one of five. However, I also push into a math class and two ELA classes. My students are currently learning how to find the area of polygons, how to divide fractions, and about unit rates. Please help us get calculators for not only our classroom but for the math class I support in. My students' disabilities make it difficult for them to solve higher-level math problems. The calculators will allow my students to explore math concepts quickly and help with accuracy. Moreover, the erasers are much needed. Most of the pencils used in class no longer have an eraser, and the storage cart will be used to store all items that I use to motivate and reward my students (i.e., fidgets, snacks, paperwork, etc.) from class to class. My kiddos are low income and this would benefit them greatly.
