This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are very high energy and love to play and have fun while learning too. As a community of learners, they are very adamant about supporting one another and working together as a team. Our classroom college name is Cornell University; we take learning very seriously in our class and we often discuss our plans for future education. The students I serve all have high aspirations and I believe that all of them will live up to their fullest potential in life because they have what it takes to do so. It is my hopes to be able to provide them with everything they need to thrive and remove any barriers preventing them from learning.

My Project

I am requesting this supplies for my 4th grade classroom to help keep our PPE stock full. The number one priority for this project is my students' safety and well-being. I think that every student deserves to have a space to come to where they feel safe and ready to learn. With so many fears and anxiety concerning the current pandemic I want to eliminate any stress or worries that my students or their parents may have about their safety in the classroom while we are fighting this pandemic and learning at the same time.
