This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my role as a new teacher of junior-level English, I am committed to providing my students with the best possible learning environment. It is my firm belief that multiple levels of support play an essential role in ensuring that successful students become successful adults. Educators play a crucial role in providing that support, especially in underserved communities. I currently work in such a community and my school is also a Title I school according to the United States Department of Education (USDOE). Educators should always strive to provide students with the best learning environment possible, including a classroom that is free from worry and ridicule.

I would appreciate your help in providing simple quality-of-life items for my students so they can focus on learning instead of how tough their lives are.

The students in my class can do great things in this world, they just need a bit of help. I am asking that you invest in their futures by giving from your heart. Please know that no donation is too small, and it will provide my students with educational tools and quality-of-life items. I truly thank you for your consideration and donations.
