This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have eleven middle school students in grades six through eight. My students come to school each day full of energy and ready to learn. They inspire me every day to be a role model and give them my best. This year, we have learned so much and I know that they will continue to amaze me throughout this school year. As an educator, my goal is to provide them with the best education possible; however, the truth is, my students teach me so much more than I could ever hope to teach them.
My Project
My students with special needs require hands-on materials to help them practice basic math skills. These instructional resources from Lakeshore are colorful, engaging, and give my students an opportunity to practice critical life skills.
Help me make learning exciting with these fun educational resources.
These resources will be used daily in our small group lessons as well as during independent practice. Students will practice sequencing numbers with the sequencing picture game. Students will match basic time and money amounts with the time and money set and practice basic addition, counting, and more with the hands-on materials. With these resources,
students will have an opportunity to practice many of the early math skills that our critical life skills!
