This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Regardless of the background of our students, they demonstrate time and again that they want educational experiences that will push them to their highest potential. The growth in their maturity is matched by their new sense of determination to further explore the world and make their own lasting impression. They are interested in so many different topics, and are always looking for ways to share their talents. We need to give them more ways of showing off these talents.

I want my students to think for themselves and find a love for learning that will travel with them throughout their lives.

I want to challenge them because I already know how brilliant they are; I want them to realize it as well!

My Project

Technology brings the world into our classroom- and into our homes. During this unprecedented time, educators have developed engaging, meaningful content that can be delivered virtually. But without enough devices for every single student, every single day, our students won't be able to access these amazing experiences.

At our school, we hope to use these Chromebooks to help individualize instruction for students in the classroom.

Our community has been ravaged by Covid-19 and we continue to face challenges with getting all of our students into school every day. But with these Chromebooks, students would be able to keep learning from anywhere, making it possible for them to continue to succeed even in the toughest of circumstances.
