Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For many of my students, due to their condition & disabilities, it is a challenge to get up in the morning for school. I am so proud of each and every one of them to have make it this far. Every morning as they walk in they greet us with a smile on their face, even when the night before might not had been so great.
My goal is to demonstrate how proud I feel and reward them for a great accomplishment.
My students will feel great about themselves. they will wear their bands or glasses proudly. The students will also have the opportunity to enhance their fine motor skill by making a bead necklace.
The students will see and note that the number 100 is huge. They will utilize a scale to weight up to 100 counters. They will count & sore by different quantities in order to add up to 100.
Students will receive a goodie bag with special prizes that can be use to sooth & calm themselves down during an emotional distress.
