My Project
My goal has been to give students the means, ideas, examples, and choices of how they want to stay active; while covering vital fitness aspects and standards for each class. In order to achieve this, it is pivotal to have up to date equipment- equipment that students (including my Life Skills students) at my school would otherwise not be able to experience and use for their fitness.
These 10lb plates will allow students to increase their gains and progress in PE class.
We have done a great job filling our fitness center with plates, but they are all 45, 35, and 25 pounds. In order to allow students to make progress we are in need of smaller weights (10lb).
This will also allow our Life Skills students and students with disabilities to utilize the fitness room and be introduced to weightlifting!
