This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My amazing third grade students are eager to learn and ready to become a little more independent as they blossom. I am privilege to be the one to teach them new skills and prepare them for 4th grade.

My students come to me from a low income area and many times I become their one caring adult they have at school.

Together, we create a space for all of my students to feel safe, cared for, and most importantly, to be successful.

My Project

Please help my eager students to have their own headphones they can use everyday! In our daily schedule they are utilizing rigorous academic websites that require individual audio and use of a microphone.

Not every student in my classroom can afford their own pair of headphones!

Not having their own headphones currently is impeding their independent learning.

Having multiple laptops with their volumes on is distracting and the online resource isn't being used effectively. My students deserve to receive differentiating instruction and having their own headphones will support their independent success.

My third grade students are also required to have individual headphones when they conquer state testing assessments.
