Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I currently teach 5th grade in a school in the South Bronx.
I recently received on overhead projector for my classroom. The students and I absolutely love it. We are able to use it for a wide range of activities and lessons.
However, I have no where to put the overhead while I use it. I usually put it on a student's desk while I teach. The overhead heats up quickly and is a potential hazard. I usually wind up having that student share a desk with another student.
I would like to have an A/V cart so that I can put the overhead on it. The overhead projector is a valuable learning tool that I would like to continue to use regularly.
