My Students
Reading is the key to creative imaginations! A great story is like having a story play in your mind. This can be done by reading a book or by listening to a book!
Students come from a low-income, poverty stricken area.
Providing various resources and extra special things in the classroom gives them an extra boost and a desire to learn. The school is a very special place because they promote reading. By giving these students the opportunity to read in various forms, it encourages them to love reading!
My Project
"Oh the places you'll go!" Dr. Seuss said it best! This listening center will enable students to listen to different books. Listening fosters a creative imagination because it allows students to hear the book being read while playing the story in their imagination. We need a listening center to increase reading and math skills because an active imagination makes a healthy brain.
This listening center will impact students for years to come.
Not only will it be a resource for this class, but for classes to come. Students will become creative listeners and discover a love for learning!
