My students need 180 student recorders to learn their first musical instrument and practice the notes they are learning in Music class.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Stutz's classroom raised $469

My Students
Many inner city students never have the opportunity to learn how to play a musical instrument. Music programs are often the first to be cut when budgets become tight. We want to encourage a love of music and start kids off with their first exposure to music at a young age.
Our students live in inner-city NYC.
They come from homes that cannot afford instruments and musical instruction for their children. They attend a choice school, where the children have to apply and maintain a certain level of excellence to remain here.
My Project
With this project, the students will be able to apply what they are learning in Music class and play their own recorders. This can be an instrument that is used both at home and in school. By learning an instrument at a young age, we hope to foster a love of music and encourage the students to play a variety of instruments as they continue to grow and mature.
This donation will make a difference in our students' lives because it will give them the opportunity to learn a musical instrument.
This will impact them by opening doors and developing talents that might never be encouraged without the help of your donation.
