This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine what it would be like to take a digital media class without digital components?

My students are in a high needs community with limited resources.

The school is located in New York. It is a middle school for grades 6-8. We do not have a lot of supplies for this new course. I have the children making a lot of the digital based items on paper, rather than computers. They have no way to hear output sounds.

My Project

By having this sound system the students can have a chance to hear sound clips and audio files related to the current topic. They struggle to stay focused and with the addition of playing music can help their work and productivity. This device will mean the world to my children.

Donations to this request make a difference by altering the way they learn in the class and the material I can incorporate into the lesson.
