My Students

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then help our year be worth trillions! First grade is a year of learning so many new things. It is when you grasp the true joy and love of learning. It is a year to make memories that will last a lifetime.

My class is full of an amazing group of students that are eager to learn everything that I put in front of them.

They are a great mixture of kids that have experienced life and those that have never been out of our city. You can almost see their hearts bursting with love as they walk into class every morning with smiles and a great attitude.

My Project

With a digital camera, I want to inspire my kids to remember all of the wonderful memories of first grade as we develop a love for writing. My plan is to allow the students to take pictures of our numerous class activities throughout the year and create our own personalized class storybook. The students will be the photographers. As well as, the authors to describe why learning is an important valuable resource and how it has changed their life.

Receiving this digital camera will make a huge difference in the life of my students.

By having photographs to document their learning, they can be inspired to know that no matter where life takes them, learning is a journey that never ends.
