This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
You have the POWER to bring my class to the 21st century. Schools in impoverished neighborhoods are usually the last to receive state of the art technologies.
My fifth grade students are learning disabled students with amazing potential.
These children don't often have the opportunity to interact with the latest technology in their homes or school. Our school often has to share projectors and laptops with multiple classrooms. Technology such as the visual presenter will bring opportunities to expose the students to various forms of literature, science and art into the classroom.
My Project
The visual presenter will change the way literature is presented to the class. The teacher can take one book and project the book onto the board. It will enlarge the print and display the pictures in color. The entire class will have access to the book to read and discuss. This avoids the teacher having to look for multiple copies of a book or make plain black and white copies of books.
The visual presenter will also change the way the students will experience actual materials. A simple leaf of small bug can be examined closely under this machine. It will enhance all social studies, science, art and math lesson.
Your donation will bring learning in the 21st century to a whole new level.
Students will be exposed to advances in technology that they will encounter in higher learning institutions and in the workplace.
