Tables needed for Inquiry based science activities I am asking that someone help to purchase two tables that would be used for lab tables for the classroom that I teach in. I teach Physical Science and Earth/Environmental Science at a coastal high school. I have a traditional classroom with no lab benches or tables. I teach on an A/B schedule. I have over 120 total students that would benefit from these tables. I feel that an essential aspect of learning science is for the students to have hands on, inquiry based activities. I teach mainly freshman that are part of a "freshman academy." I have organized my room so that the back of the room can accommodate these two tables. With hands on activities, I can reach some students who otherwise can not concentrate on book and white board learning. If you support this grant, the money will be used to purchase two utility tables from a local wholesale business. These tables will be used for a variety of lab activities for the science courses that I teach.
