Hello, I teach Desktop Publishing, Word Processing, Keyboarding and Computer Applications to high school students. We are in a low-income community.
There are not enough TVs to share among the whole school. In fact there is only one to share among a hall. When you want to show your students an educational movie or have the students watch their PowerPoint Presentations they created, there is usually not a TV available.
We need a way to see our PowerPoints all the time. Not only do students need to be able to watch their PowerPoints, but the students will take notes from teacher created PowerPoint starting with the first day of school. I also use a PowerPoint at open house to show parents what my classes will be doing throughout the semester.
If we are able to receive a TV and a cart we can look at PowerPoints and Desktop Publishing activities anytime we need to. Students will also be able to watch educational videos and movies.
Please help our very classroom keep up with the changing trends of life, so we may be able to continue to learn and grow.
