Welcome to North Carolina History, where papers fly, books are dropped, and materials are lost. At our school, we support a high-needs community. Let's help them gain the organization necessary to get them to high school.
Ms. S, did you find my book??? Our middle school students can hardly keep up with their hormones and emotions, much less a textbook or notebook paper.
Responsibility, accountability, and maturity are major words in the typical middle school. A classroom mail center would help students learn to keep up with their things, and support teachers in keeping the class on task. A central place where papers can be collected and distributed would be an amazing contribution to a successful middle school classroom.
Your support in this project will allow my students the ability to be focused on the important materials we are discussing, not searching around for a pencil. Any teacher will tell you that the trivial things are what distract a class more than anything else.
Your kindness can create a better learning environment for the best and worst students alike. Imagine how much we could learn with 10 minutes of extra time a day, which you will provide with this organizational tool.
