Biome Diorama

My students need the following materials to build Biome Dioramas for their project: plastalina clay, animal wonderfoam, colored noodles, cotton balls, craft fluffs, balloons, chenille stems(regular and jumbo, foam sheets, model magic clay, blue play dough, glue sticks, and beads.

My students are natural learners who love to get their hands on science! I teach integrated 7th grade science to 128 wonderful young teenagers. We have a lot of economically challenged students. We have a variety of special needs students included in classes. Many of the students who have trouble with reading and writing can do phenomenal work with creative and artistic expression. This is their chance to shine.

When given lots of materials, my students have proved that they can and will do great work. This grant will allow them to have ample supplies for the Biome Diorama project. We do all work in school since many have little or no supplies at home.

If I am funded for this project, my students and I will be able to have an exciting and rewarding learning experience designing, building and presenting these Biome Dioramas.

Your funding of this project will touch 128 students lives and make a difference in their 7th grade year in science. This will prove to some of them that people in business care about their learning and lives !!
