My 2nd grade class of 2015- 2016 is a very capable, creative, energetic, and kind group of learners. The class writes and reads every morning. Next, we practice math facts and real world math problems which are challenging, but we strive to solve them. Music, art, science, social studies, internet safety and drama also fill our days. Students and the teacher fill invisible buckets we each carry with compliments and help one another as much as possible. We also have learned not to bite the hook, in other words, not allow others to tease us. We are growing and learning together. The best part of the day is after lunch. We all gather together on the rug and listen to Mrs. Nitta read aloud. It is a time of adventure, friendship, self-reflection, and sharing. Students become rejuvenated and want to read more. We are a tight-knit family and each day is a new adventure!
