21st-century learning is essential in the classroom. Integration is key to successful learning while incorporating writing, technology, and hands-on tasks into the 6th grade classroom, where they will be able to make real-world connections between math, reading and life skills. I teach 6th grade at a school in a military town. With a big part of our school population coming from all types of families and cultures, these students are coming and going all year long.
