Welcome to my DonorsChoose.org Giving Page. Please join me in supporting kids in need by making a donation of any size! In short, I give you a good reason to laugh (a mustache on my ugly mug? Forget about it), and, in turn, you donate to one or more of the very worthy school projects that I'm sponsoring via this webpage. For the slightly longer version; a group of my coworkers at the company I work for, Ariba, annually turns February into âMustache Monthâ in an effort to raise money, via Donorâs Choose, for education. The fact that we get to belittle each otherâs facial-hair skills, or lack thereof, is merely a payoff for a monthâs worth of grooming mishaps. To be fair, the first three weeks of the month serve as the âbuild up,â as many of us need that time to procure the required upper-lip real estate that will ultimately have to pass as a mustache, so any variant of facial hair, from the Grizzly Adams to the Van Dyke. are all in play. Itâs this last week of the month where we reveal the full âstache and nothing but the âstache, and it is this week where our donation drive is at our follicle-driven apex. As you will see, the projects on this page are teacher-submitted, so by donating you'll know exactly what kind of activity/resource your dollars are helping to fund as well as the kids who will benefit (at least this school year), from your charitable act. Do you like science? You can help fund new microscopes! Enjoy reading? Contribute to new books for a literary class! In terms of your charitable contributions making an immediate and profound impact, it doesn't get much better than this. I welcome donations of all amounts, and encourage you to pass this note on to other mustache enthusiasts and supporters of education!
