With the disadvantages these children already face, free public education is often the only chance these kids have to close the achievement gap. I know this because I myself am a teacher. I have my degrees in Music Education and I currently work with preschool children with special needs, and my suggested projects largely reflect those areas, but really there is not a single project out there that would not hugely benefit some curriculum.
