My dear friends, family and colleagues-- Welcome to my 50th Birthday Celebration Page Help me celebrate my 50th birthday by supporting STEM Education through Donors Choose. I have selected a few projects that I'm interested in supporting. Please click the link below to see my favorite projects. If you don't see something that interests you, browse around for a project that you feel is worthy of you support and donate to that instead. I was blessed to have an early interest in software engineering. There were a handful of great teachers and mentors that encouraged my interest in science and technology, particularly, computer technology. Keep in mind, this was in the 1970's, so most people had little exposure to using, much less programming a computer. These early influences have helped me to develop the skills and drive that have led to a very rewarding career. Asking my family, friends and colleagues to support STEM education through Donors Choose is one of the ways that I pass on the encouragement and opportunities to the next generation. Perhaps a donation of $50, since I'm turning 50. Or $5. Or $500. Or any amount that you are comfortable with. It's up to you. Thank you. Ken hide
